OMG!! Best cookies ever!!

We ordered a cake here, and are so satisfied! Originally, our pick up was for 1:30. We got there around 1:45 and was told it would be just another 20-30 minutes and offered 2 cupcakes for our wait. We only took one of them, though. The frosting on the cupcake we had was a bit too thick and the butter taste was too noticeable to be enjoyable, but our cake was so perfect, so I couldn’t possibly leave anything less than 5 stars. Cake was flavorful and dense (in the BEST way!) and truly beautiful. Worth every penny and then some. Would definitely recommend!

Society Bakery is our go to bakery for celebrations. My got engaged this past Saturday and I ordered the red velvet cake to take to Houston and it was a Hit, everyone loved it!!

I tried this place last October for some cupcakes due to trying them at a friend birthday. My first encounter and visit was great. When I picked up my order the owner was there and was very kind. Fast forward to this month. My husband ordered cupcakes for my birthday last week. His only frustration is them having a closed sign and he had to wait in the car for his order. Whatever not really a big deal. Fast forward to TODAY. The person who took the order I believe was an Hispanic lady, the same person who gave my husband our order last week. She was not friendly at all taking the order. Definitely seem irritated for whatever apparent reason. Just not friendly AT ALL. Didn’t even say goodbye or see you at pick up or nothing just hung up. I tried calling back immediately three times. Finally got an answer it was the same chick. I requested to speak to the manager. She initially said she’s not in at the moment and she would be in later. I asked what time. She said she makes her own schedule. So I asked again would she be in today and she said no. I asked would she be in tomorrow and she wasn’t sure. That’s bull but okay. I requested my order to be canceled because she was rude. In her rude defensive tone she said “what did I do”? I explained to her. Did she offer any type of apology? Heck no!!! I’m not surprised her initially, careless attitude already showed me that. So I won’t be ordering again and have advise people that I know who wanted to order to not. Sucks because the owner is kind but her ordering person is very rude. Good luck with that attitude. Oh I forgot to mention. If you so chose to order please use a credit card. The girl taking my order seem sketchy because she was not only asking for CVC number which is fine. But also wanted the zip. Keep in mind they have never asked for the zip especially if they have the CVC. I asked her “You need my zip code”? She then says not it’s okay we don’t need it. Yea that’s exactly what I thought. So be cautious IF you order.

Society is the best! I have loved everything I ordered, from cupcakes to cakes to cookies! They are always so friendly and great to work with.

From the friendly staff to the decadent desserts, Society Bakery makes for a great place to order a sweet treat for any occasion. I normally walk-in for their cupcakes but, I plan to order a cake for an upcoming event soon!

I arrived at 2:45, and they are closed, online it says they close at 4pm, the sign on the door says 3pm, but they actually must have closed early. This place is so inconsistent, not worth the hassle and the unwelcoming attitudes. I’ve been coming to this location since 2015, never again. After my disappointing visit, my husband decided to surprise me and try this place again. And he was met with a sign on the door in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday. “Closed to the Public” Sigh…

Always consistently great items! Never disappoints! For Christmas I ordered cake….Best white cake with chocolate mousse and most delicious icing! Got the decorated cookies so good, my grandson really loved them! Their cupcakes are always so so good! I’m a long time customer and love the fun delicious items the bakery has during holidays and great items anytime! M
