This has been my go to grocery shop since before I could drive, to just realise I've been shopping here over 20 years is wild. Definitely shows I like the place, and there are some staff I've been seeing there since that time. It's always clean, the staff are all great. It's a nice place for sure. Bonus that I have never been followed around by security if I decide to shop in my "lazy clothes". I get nice and dark in the summer, and refuse to shop at many larger stores, because I get brown. But this Sobeys location has got my back for sure. Keep up the good work guys.
As long as you're making a ton of money and want to spend it on groceries that are 40% more this place is great.
Don't get to go to Sobeys much, as we dont have one where we live. Anyway i always like how clean it is, lots of variety, fresh produce and i love the section if cut fruits, snacks, etc. Friendly service. 5/5
It has an in store bakery but the buns and bread are often a day old. (Update- most days only one and two day old bread, full price ) It seems the best time to get fresh buns and bread is later in the day. The deli counter has a good selection but the pricing is consistently higher than the competitors. Service from the pharmacy is very good. The checkout area could be laid out better and people buying lottery tickets often clog up the way out.
