Absolutely outstanding restaurant! :) An EXTREMELY comprehensive Japanese menu with a plethora of choices. As if the food wasn’t already 10/10, the staff is also 10/10 and so wonderfully kind and sweet! The food choices are so ridiculously plentiful and you can come here over fifty different times and get different combinations each time. The food was just satisfying and wonderful to the max. I’m happy I’m within walking distance here but I’d come still even if I wasn’t!

Food is amazing! Love the soba and don combo!

The chicken just feels like it was boiled, nothing more. The pieces are cut too large and are very not suitable. They are very hard. Most importantly, the chicken has a strong gamey taste, which is quite unpleasant. The soup is tasteless and, as shown in the picture, very greasy. The staff also gave a very uncomfortable impression.

Loved it here! We were a group of 8 without a reservation and we only had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday evening to be seated. The host was very sweet and broke the usual "full group must be present" policy to let us sit when only 6 of us were there, as long as we promised to order shortly thereafter (which we were hoping to do anyway!) The prices were reasonable for Manhattan, and there were several vegan/vegetarian options. My "vegan veggie soba" was a little bland but overall I enjoyed it. The ube parfait was delicious, I'd absolutely get it again. My friends enjoyed their seafood and meat soba sets as well. All in all this place had friendly staff, great food, and the atmosphere felt almost like being back in Japan despite being firmly in midtown Manhattan.

Udon and beef rice bowl was delicious. Sashimi was average. Atmosphere and service was really great!

Fantastic soba! Nice and cosy restaurant. Great jazz music selection and superb customer service. The gentleman that served us was giving us fair and honest recommendation. When I am back in the city, I'll definitely come back here. Great value for money versus other Japanese in the area.
