AKWAYS GREATNESS! They can make most items gluten free and it's all crazy delicious! The strawberry shortcake pancakes are amazing. The pancake flight is a good choice because you can try 3 different types. Sausage patties are flavorful. I mean everything is soooo dang good! This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! I'd make reservations if possible - it's always busy. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
Overall, I really love this restaurant. I visited Saturday morning at around 10AM and, as you would expect from a popular location on 7th, it was packed. The only reason I've removed a star is because both the wait times for entering and the wait times for food and beverages were unusually long. We did get seated within the time frame of our check in, so I won't complain about that. We did wait about 30 minutes for coffees/lemonades from the bar that came staggered to our table, the last of which we received about 30 minutes after having been ordered. Our waitress did stop by twice to thank us for our patience and let us know she was just waiting on the bar, but my friend received her drink just shortly before her food which, again, took about 35 minutes to come out from when we ordered it. For a brunch place, I would prefer to at least have the drinks flowing while the food is being prepared. We were started with four waters without asking, so we weren't going thirsty, but our waters were never refilled. The food was amazing, our party had zero complaints about it once we got it. Everything looked picture perfect and I especially fell in love with the Pork Chili Verde Benedict. I ordered the Benny Duo, which I think is a great dish since they offer a variety of benedict options, but fell so in love with the Pork Chili Verde, I'll never consider ham again. The fruit I subbed out in place of hashbrown was super fresh and sweet. The Lavender Latte I ordered was almost perfect, but I think I got a pour that included too much of the lavender simple syrup. It was so floral, it burned my throat a little. I still slurped it down in record time. Overall, still a fun experience, just expect to be there roughly two to three hours including wait time. They may have been understaffed for the day, but given the crowd they seem to attract, I hope it was a rare issue and not a consistent experience. Either way, I'm happy to go back and wait again.
Delicious breakfast/brunch! The place is beautiful. Service was a bit slow given that it was rather busy. Some of the items on the menu weren't available, but we were able to select something else and enjoy it nonetheless! We'll definitely be back!
