I was a regular costumer of this place until about 10 days ago. On Jan 18th, I was out with my family, like always I ordered smoothies on their website and drove there to pick up. The store was closed while it was normal working hours (4 pm), because of snowfall or whatever I don’t know. First: there was a young lady inside, but she ignored us. I knocked, I went to pickup window, I knocked the door again, just ignored. Then I left with the kids upset. Second: if they wanted to close or were closed why there were getting orders online? Third: I was hoping they refund me automatically, but they didn’t. I called the store, a lady asked my name and phone number and told me her manager will take care of it. But after about a week from my call, no call back and no refund. I should spend time and call my credit card company to dispute that transaction.
Well the order process was fine. As usual spent half a days wage on two items. What bothered me is the order was simple a PB smoothie and a PB Swizzle bowl... got the smoothie, but no bowl. Now sitting here another 15 mins waiting for it. They have 6 people working! No others in store and only 1 in drive thru. Poor training? Or lazy ? Either way, we will continue to go to tropical smoothie or fruition.
Decided to try smoothie king. Smoothie was filled up 3/5 of the way, paid for a 32 ounce but received like 20. I went through drive through, was in a rush so I couldn’t go inside. Side note: the smoothie was around room temperature.
The ladies who work here are very friendly, knowledgeable and kind.
No matter how many times I’ve ordered ahead they have never had my order ready. What makes it worse is that I end up standing there for 10 minutes just to speak to somebody for them to tell me it’s going to be another 20 minutes to get my order ready. Obviously I would not have ordered ahead if I had an hour to wait around.
My go to place after feeling sick or just had a rough day for a healthy and delicious treat. They’re usually pretty quick, even if you have to pull forward. Friendly staff. Tip, if you’re not from around here, it can be easily missed as other buildings may block the view of the place so be slow as you near it. My experience today: I ordered the probiotic add in, was asked if I meant multivitamin, to which I said sure not realizing it was actually called gut health for what I truly wanted. So if you’re ordering add ins, be sure to know the specific name to reduce confusion. And when I pulled forward they had forgotten to even do the add in and had to reblend, increasing the wait time, but they came through with a pup treat for the dog! And drinks came out delicious as always!
Love love this location. They are the nicest and cleanest location around!
