Smokey Bones Melbourne

I hate rating places bad and I’m sorry but I was not impressed and actually didn’t care at all for the food here. I grew up in TX and know what good bbq is and lived in CA, AZ and other places with good bbq. So after moving here to Melbourne Smokey Bones sounded like a great place to get some good bbq. I was so wrong. Probably the worst meal I’ve had in a long time and way over priced for what it was. The sever was nice the food was bad and the atmosphere was so so. Sorry but I won’t be back.

The service was great our server Koda was exceptional the prices were pretty good. The food was ok I did expect a little better but it was good.

The amount of times we've shown up for a pickup order and they don't have our food is ridiculous. Multiple times we've ordered food to then arrive at the specified time and they're out of it. No phone call ahead to let us know so we can order anything else, or not bother even bother and cancel our order. This has happened over and over again. They say the don't have the number because it's a call center even though we call this location. Another issue is the website will list a sale that's going on, but this location won't honor that. Edit: contacted the email recommended below and never got a response. Ordered 2xs since 1st review and each time they were out of multiple things on the menu

My server was great ! Food was good and atmosphere.

Ordered the brisket platter and paid $26. It came with two pieces of brisket. What a disappointment. My partner ordered the pulled pork platter and the amount of pork he received I would have expected to be served on a sandwich. Or maybe even a child's size portion for a platter. For something to be labeled as a "platter", it should come with more food considering what we paid for it. I even flagged down the bartender to ensure we hadn't accidentally received a lunch portion and she told me that what we received was correct for sizing portions. Also, I upgraded to Mac and cheese as a premium side and it was honestly just kinda gross. The brisket and the pulled pork tasted good, but I've never been more disappointed in portion sizes. We both left the restaurant hungry. ***EDIT*** I contacted the company per the request left on this review. It has been 3 weeks. I have not received a response. Awful customer service in my opinion. I would give zero stars if I could.
