Just tried this place for the first time.NOT IMPRESSED!!!! The Mac n Cheese was very blan no flavor, the chicken taste like it was cooked yesterday. Oh don't let me go in on the beans. Nothing but ketchup and sugar.
A small hole-in-the-wall BBQ place in an industrial park. The food is good, it has to be given the location. Great house BBQ sauces. Get there early, like all good BBQ places, the good stuff goes fast.
Hole in the wall joint that is dedicated, they take pride in their work. Great overall so 2 of the most minor comments imaginable - could use better utensils and warm the bread roll
Excellent BBQ. Not too many BBQ spots in the bay area that I recommend but THIS IS THE SPOT!!!!
Wow the food is so good! We tried the tri-tip, ribs and pulled pork! Everything was amazing, so delicious! We also tried the mac n cheese and the cole slaw. Everything was on point.
Though BBQ items were served a bit cold, they were quite good. The well-cooked Tri-Tip was so tender as if they'd melt in my mouth. They know how to do BBQ but the food needs to be served warmer. I also liked the corn bread. Small eatery. Simple setting. Self-service. Cheap utensils. For the price they charge and the sake of cutting meats, they should have invested better cutleries. They also run food truck around the area.
First time there and food was great. People were awesome and took care of me. Good price for great bbq. Going back soon!!!
None of the meat was very juicy even though it was early in the day when I went in. I had asked for extra fatty brisket and it was a bit stringy and not very fatty. The chicken was solid with good flavor, but was also not juicy. The pulled pork tater tots were solid. The Bay Area barbecue scene just isn't there.
