Update: went with a group of men from the church about 10 of us on a Friday evening. The place was jumping but the staff was more than able to accommodate us and the service was great. Our waiter's name was Jake and you couldn't ask for better. I said before this was a hidden find. It's not so hidden anymore nor should it be. This place is awesome. And the food is very very good. Wow what a great hidden find. This place is fun. I went for lunch with a group from work. The boss was buying so that alone made this a GREAT VISIT . I had the Smoke Justice burger and roasted vegetables. The roasted vegetables were a real delight- first that they offered roasted vegetables and second that they were so good! The service was outstanding for our party of 8 (7 men and 1 female). I'm looking forward to going again. Next time I have to try the wings. They looked delectable

Cold food, slow servive

Having heard so many good things about Smoke Justis, a group of friends and I decided to check it out. I left unimpressed. We were there to watch the game and the TV's were not loud enough to hear. I ordered appetizers to share with my husband and son. We got the nachos, pretzel loaf, chicken fingers, fries and the blondie for dessert. The nacho toppings were cold, The chicken fingers were overcooked. The pretzel loafs were great and the fries were fine. The server was very nonchalant, which wasn't a big deal at first but then became a problem. After joining the group a little later in the evening, a new friend put in an order, but her meal was completely forgotten. When the server came around and took our payment, I tipped her 20%. The server returned to our table and told my husband that she forgot to charge us for the fries and needed to charge his card. Okay, that happens but then she came back a third time and informed a friend she did not charge her for a portion of her meal, and then told me she had to swipe my credit card yet again because she had forgot to include the blondie. It could have been worse but for the price and the quality of food and service, I wont return.

Although my first experience was a great one, which prompted the decision of it being today's choice, today was not as great. I ordered a House Salad, via website ordering (because the VM stated that no one was permitted to receive take-out orders over the phone), and I DID NOT receive what was expected. I spoke to the manager and explained that because of my first visit I decided to visit today, and the salad that I received at my first visit was TWICE the size of the one I received today. He simply said that the person who made the salad on my first visit must've given me more than I was supposed to received. However, being that I paid $13+plus, the Cobb salad I received the first time was what should've been given (IMO), and was worth the price paid. Today, I ordered from the same menu and expected the same size salad. The size of the salad received today was the size of a normal SIDE salad, not a full salad. I decided to call (before opening the container), rather than return after I left the establishment (for the sake of not wasting a trip), and the manager asked if I ordered online (as if that would've made a difference), and then admitted that he really didn't get a good look at the salad (that I had pulled from the bag and placed atop the bar). After I described the FLAT container in which the salad was place, he only stated that it sounds like it was the right container. I didn't request a refund (that wasn't my purpose for the dispute), but something could've been done to compensate for the LACK OF FOOD that I received for the FULL PRICE that was paid. I simply wished this manager a good day, and have decided that I will NEVER frequent this establishment again.

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Good service. It was quite loud in the restaurant. We would return if in the area. Had to pay to park. Parking: We were passing through on a trip so there may be a better place to park, but we had to download an app and pay to park. Very frustrating. Note is was only like $2. And it had snowed and the parking was not plowed.

Overall we had a good time at Smoke Justis. The wings I had were really good and had a wonderful smoke flavor. Staff was attentive, kind, and easy to work with. The only thing keeping this a 4 star vs 5 is our cornbread and hushpuppies were very dry, I wouldn't want to order either of these again. Highly recommend the wings though!
