The first time I went, I ordered a couple crab and garlic noodle platter and catfish and fries and the chicken wings. It was all good.

Travel nurse from Houston so I know good food Reservation-immediately seated …Clean comfortable, great music playing although there’s no lyrics being played ,we knew every song the food was delicious. Wanted to get drinks but was told we had to go to the bar and order, that was weird to have to get up and get our own drinks so -3 stars Not many drink options just lemonade so -3stars their should be more of a variety of drink options at a restaurant Told to split appetizer time & main course brought out at same time -3stars We’d return though

To go order 30 min late. Tried to give me my order with missing desert. When I questioned another person came with a refund saying they are out of desert Gave me my money excluded the tax

The staff was all very helpful and courteous. We tried to do a walk in a few years ago,but we had an event to go to and the wait was going to be too long. The chef definitely put his foot in it! Chefs kiss to those blackened scrimps! D-li-cious

If you’re ever in the Bay Area NEVER ever ever eat at chef smellys . I ordered a chicken meal and they gave me food poisoning immediately after I ate a piece of chicken. It was slimy and not cooked completely. I went to ask for a refund and the hostess went to call the owner, chef. As she was speaking to him. A extremely rude black woman middle age walked up saying she was the owner of it. I showed her receipt and she said there was nothing they can do because it was ordered from Uber. As she was talking I literally had to run out door and began to throw up the food. She was very dismissive. Non empathetic or cared that the food made me sick literally in her face. All she said is their food is always fresh, even though she witnessed me sick right in front of the door. Being in customer service myself that was the most rude and disrespectful I have ever been treated by anyone. This is what makes it so hard to support black businesses. They don’t treat people right and she had a huge attitude problem. Please never eat there . And she had the audacity to only offer if I want to take the food

Not only was the food good but the atmosphere was on point!!

First time coming here and the food was delicious the wings were off the chain. The owners are so sweet, wait staff was very attentive...And the atmosphere was everything.

Great customer service from the time we went in, chef came to table to chat with us, food was good & fresh! Drinks did what was needed will be returning

Nice music and atmosphere to enjoy during inclimate weather. Just note that the bar and resturaunt are seperate businesses
