I'm not a big fan of burgers, so I was skeptical when my boyfriend took me here. I have to say it's a neat place with the best burgers I've ever had! They're served with two patties, a delicious garlic aioli on a brioche bun, which really adds to the rest of the ingredients. It's definitely elevated from your regular fast food burger and doesn't even need add ons. The quality is there. My boyfriend warned me beforehand that they are served a little pink, so if you don't like that, I recommend asking for a longer cook time. I had forgotten to ask, and I didn't even mind. I haven't bothered trying to ask after that. Another tip would be to get the cheese bun to make an extra burger with your double patty or slip it in between the patties. I personally enjoy the fries, and that's coming from a fry snob. I like to dip them in the side cups of the aioli. This place has an old-fashioned feel to it with shakes and dipped cones, but you can also order shots at the counter haha. I look forward to going every time I visit Chicago! Give it a try.
That's my favorite burgers. Also, they have other locations. One of them is in Fulton Market they have more options, like a restaurant and a big menu but u have to call and make reservations. Otherwise, u have to wait ✋️ like 1 hour. But it's worth it..believe me
$14.49 for a plant based burger, $5 more than the regular burger. The plant based burger also comes with mayonnaise, so essentially no real accomodations for plant-based diets.
Too expensive for lukewarm burgers
There burgers & fries were nice.
Small Chevalier has delicious food and great service, but if you order online…please note that your food is not secured in a stapled or concealed bag I spent a lot on dinner for my family, and was shocked when the food arrived in an open bag. I will not order again!!
