Stracciatella App was amazing, octopus app was probably the best I ever had. Very fresh! My gf’s truffle pasta was also very good. I ordered the burger medium/rare. After it came out and I wanted mayo. Had to wait for like 10 mins for my waiter to come over to ask for it. Then waited like another 10-15 for him to come back..without it. I finally had to tell him, hey I won’t eat until I get the Mayo, can I please have it, my food it getting cold. Finally brought it over and as it turned out the burger was very over cooked, came out, well done. By this time I filled up on the fries and asked him to remove it from the order. No one came over to check what had happened which I thought was a bit of a fail on the manger’s part. But ok whatever. Then I gave cash for part of the check, and he just decided to keep the coins from the change. ( I had already clearly left tip on my Credit card). I asked him for the coins, and he was like we don’t keep any. I responded he could give me a dollar back, and he can short the restaurant not me. He went to the manager who produced the change. Normally i honestly wouldn’t care about the few coins, but it was just the way he showed us that our table was not worth his effort to do his best. He had plenty of time for the surrounding tables and to chat with coworkers. The busers were great, they really covered for him, but even were confused when they had to get him to come over to us to get our main dish order because he was “too busy.” We had dinner at 5p on a Sunday the place was not packed, but got fuller as our dinner concluded. Love the food in general, and the vibe. We will be back. We will also request another server next time.
Top notch restaurant. The pork chop was excellent. Not as good as Perry's Steakhouse, but that's my gold standard.
Def a local favorite. High quality food, always cooked to perfection. Interesting but not overpowering flavors. Good service. Valet parking available. It’s always a safe choice knowing we will have a good meal.
I went to this restaurant for the first time on 2/3/24 for lunch and loved it so much that I went back for dinner! TWICE in one day! Food is incredible - had eggplant parm for starter, baked egg/tomato dish for my meal. Dinner had the bone-in strip. Both times I had dessert. I also chatted with my neighbors about their meal. Everything was delicious. Don’t be fooled by the name, portions are large!
Went here serval times and always had good experiences. However this time the overall experience was pretty bad. Starting from the host. She doesn’t seems like where she is taking us, first to the furthest table then changed her mind(?) and bring us to the tables in the middle. Food ordering went smooth, got our drink and appetizer pretty fast. Then it’s long wait for our main course. There were quit a lot serves in restaurant but just so hard to get anyone to our table to ask for the status of our orders. Finally the main course came. We had salmon but it has no taste(just plain without seasoning). The duck confit is cook with garlic and oil but still has a strong smell. It’s very different from what we had before. Very disappointed. After that we had to wait for another 15 mins for our desserts. They were quit fast to give us the check compare to their speed on getting goods to our table.
Parking: Lots of spots to park in .
Had an amazing time at Small Batch tonight. This is the same owner as Craft in NYC, which we have been to a number of times and love. With that being said, we looked forward to this experience tonight, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant has an atmosphere that is sleek but not too stuffy. Both the food and service were outstanding. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
Went here for a baby shower today. I liked the ambiance, the open feel. The food is good—I had a pomegranate mimosa, arugula salad with lemon/pine nuts/Parmesan and roasted Lancaster turkey sandwich. The only item I did not care for was the homemade ketchup to go with the fries. Just give me Heinz lol :)
This is a nice restaurant
