Slater's 50/50

Good service and diverse menu with wings and burgers. The shakes were out of this world.

Decent atmosphere, rude servers, rude managers, food is ehhh. Probably won’t be back

Wednesday night about 7:30pm Unfortunately we received horrible service and food. Our bartender “September” whose birthday is in May was horrid off bat. Major attitude no hospitality whatsoever. Zero knowledge of what was behind the bar then completely dismissive (eye roll included) to our request to send completely burnt appetizers back, jalapeño poppers and Mac n cheese bites dark dark brown sent back and brought out even more burnt!!! Vampire dip (bread bowl barely cut open with not much cheese completely melted over onto the plate. Burgers and fries absolutely over cooked As a veteran in the service industry I’d say absolutely avoid this place.

Not many burger places can claim to be this good, but you need to try this one out. The best part is that the supporting cast of food is so good, along with the burgers! I started with the bacon flight and was pleasantly surprised with how perfectly the bacon was cooked. Flawlessly done. Not too done, not under done and the seasonings were fantastic. The billionaire bacon is soo good and all the other ones hit nicely. Very good flavors. After that I had a 50/50 burger with bacon, cheese, onion rings and bbq sauce. What a treat… the flavors this thing had were fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, and the fixings on top were perfect. Again, the bacon was perfect. I’m glad I subbed the 50/50 patty and so should you. You won’t be disappointed. This is one fantastic burger. The star of the show for me though was the garlic Parmesan fries I got. I’m not a huge French fry fan, but I’d eat these any time of the day. They seemed like they were layered with seasoning throughout and not just sprinkled with seasoning like most. Generous portions of cheese and the chucks of garlic were a lovely treat if you like garlic. So much good food!!!! The atmosphere is really chill and the staff is super friendly and helpful. This place was hitting on all cylinders tonight and I couldn’t be happier with every part of the experience. Lots of warm thank yous as we were leaving. Love this place
