This is almost as perfect as a lounge could be. Excellent service with sweeping views of the city. Layout was elegant with upbeat background music that was noticeable but permitting conversation. I had my trusty old fashioned which gave me the expected satisfaction. I ventured to have the disco inferno cocktail which had a presentation as potent as its smoky flavor and strength. I would recommend slow easy sips on this one!
Excellent place to relax after exploring the city. Have a drink and watch the city lights at night from above with a drink.
Great food drinks and views
I’ve lived in Nashville for 11 years. Sora(Skye Lounge.) is its best kept secret. First, I had no idea the skye lounge served sushi. Second, I wasn’t prepared for how great it was going to be. The crispy rice was to die for. Also, you definitely want to try the matcha cheesecake. I’m not a matcha lover, but I loved that. The cocktails paired wonderfully with the rolls we choose. The ambiance was the perfect date night spot. The views were definitely a huge selling point. Compliments to the chef.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sora, the newest sushi restaurant Downtown Nashville, and I must say it was a pleasant experience. The menu showcases a variety of sushi rolls, and sashimi! One standout dish was the EL,Paso Roll, which includes Japanese A5 Wagyu! The staff was attentive, and kind! The views of the city are amazing!
I thought this was going to be a great place to go... but it seems to be reservation only (we did make reservations) and they seem to restrict the number of people up there. Views are great, but limiting the people up there kills the atmosphere. Also, service is incredibly slow. I was going to the bar which had great service and was carrying drinks for my table because the server never came back. Not worth the $$$ and the views aren't worth it. It would be better if it was more of a bar atmosphere, walking around taking in the views would be really conducive to meeting new people, but that seems to be locked down.
