Skirted Heifer

These burgers are the perfect treat after a long day of hiking and climbing! The crispy cheese skirt is so good, and I love ripping it off and adding it back into the burger.

We visited on a Sunday night for dinner. It had been years since we last ate at the restaurant. Everything was how we remembered it. I had The Veg Out (Quinoa Burger) with sweet potato fries and my husband The Hangover with Belgian fries. We had the handcrafted lemonade to drink and split the meal with our toddler. Note: the quinoa burger has egg so it’s vegetarian but not vegan friendly. And all of the sauces, minus ranch, are dairy-free. Indoor seating is limited. If you have small children, I would advise against strollers since there really isn’t a place for them. There’s a patio with a few spots for outdoor seating when it’s warmer. The vibe, low lighting and nice music, is really chill. If you like the downtown scene, it’s a nice joint to check out. We will be dining again there soon!

The place was super small and overcrowded. The burger was okay, not what I thought it was going to be. The fries were worse than McDonald's. The lady at the register did not put it in as a to go order like requested.

This is one of those places you find on Instagram and it definitely holds up to the hype.

Burgers are so good there the burger of the month is always a hit

I'm from out of town and a friend recommended this place. "The burgers are the best," she said. When I arrived, (around 5:15pm on a Sunday evening) I immediately saw there were no seats available inside the place. I ordered my food (The B&B burger) and fries, along with a drink. While I was waiting for my order, I told the server if no table opens up, I'll take it to go. After 15 minutes, a table opened up so I grabbed it. The entire time I was there, none of the staff cleaned the tables. They were all in the kitchen or at the register. The burger was good, not great. The meat was cooked to the correct temperature, but the amount of bleu cheese on the burger overwhelmed the flavor of the entire burger. I didn't finish my burger. The Belgian fries, I saw the food server take out of a bowl and put on my plate. They weren't straight from the fryer, so the fries were room temperature at most. For a place that Guy Fieri visited, this was not what I had hoped to experience.
