Drove from the south area to give this spot a try. The food was delicious but the customer service and friendliness of staff was even better. To be honest even if the food wasnt the best, I would be back just because of how the staff treated us but we got the better deal... great staff and food!

A friend invited our group of three for lunch, and I can't help but rave about the entire experience. This is not a fancy place... this is where friends and strangers mingle at outdoor picnic tables and enjoy burgers, beer, and the company of whomever is nearby. The owner, Skip, misses no detail. The food is delicious, the beer selection great ( I had an IPA), and the service outstanding. I loved it! If I lived in the area I would make this a regular haunt.

Very attentive staff and authentic American vibe. Tried couple of burgers and sandwiches. The steak sandwich was really good, very tender steak, just right bread texture. Sweet potato fries were cut very thin making it very crispy, very good too! Burger patty was a little small and a bit too salty. Overall a positive experience.

Best burger in town. Rosemary sweet potato fries. Great fun with Skip. Nuff said.

Really good food

Besides it being a nice community business I don’t understand the 5 star rating. The food is unfortunately bland. It looks so good but the taste isn’t there. I’ve given it many chances over many years. Burgers and sandwiches basically flavorless. Sorry Skip but this is a pass from me. Not even on my consideration list anymore because it always disappoints.

We have dined in and also taken food home to eat. We have been going to skip since it opened, and it is always a warm and friendly place to be . The food is great, and the staff is wonderful and Ship is a doll. Hauf family Kid-friendliness: Many people bring their children and they are always welcome. Wheelchair accessibility: It is a small restaurant but it has outdoor seating as well. No matter your needs, Skip and his staff will make it comfortable for you.
