Took the wife 4 her b-day dinner (it's where she wanted 2 go) havta say it was very pleasant, R server Brian was excellent n ck'd on us frequently, considering he was also bartender n busser....lol. I had the Veal Parm n the wife had flank steak with risotto, both were very good n healthy sized portions. Did ask 4 sum horseradish sauce for the wife's steak n never got it, however didn't ruin the meal. The meals could have b'n a lil warmer but Brian made up 4 it. If ur look'n 4 a bar type atmosphere with good portions that were tasty go ck it out. N if ur anythin like me the Tirimusu is an absolute must... Nuther b-day dinner 4 the wife, it's where she wanted 2 go. Excellent food n service. Parking: It the Summit mall... there's hella park'n Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families coming n goin.
UPDATE: 01/28/2024 Unfortunately, like everywhere, and everything in this horrible economy, Skipolini's prices jumped recently dramatically. Do not get me wrong I have always enjoyed their food. But, it is NOT luxury 5-star cuisine, and knowing the price & skillset needed for good pasta, the value proposition dropped for me considerably. Unfortunately, they priced me and friends in our party out of the market. Turned into high-end non-familyfriendly price point. Sad, dark times. Have always been a fan, and a regular, driving from Dayton to enjoy regularly. Hoping one day to return when pricing matches the value proposition. ____________________________ Always had a good meal here, nice clean, warm ambience at this location. I used to frequent the Antioch, CA. location in my youth. A little pricey, but good. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly options, but highly priced.
I normally don’t write reviews but I had to today. The manager Todd went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure our party was taken care of. The service, staff, and food exceeded our expectations. Can’t say enough good things!
We had the Chicken Parmesan and a large salad -- they were delicious, and there was enough left over to take home for another meal. Seating was fast with no waiting. The atmosphere was magnificent and the service was great but the handheld computer with the guilt tipping suggestions convinced me to pay with cash in the future.
The service was prompt and friendly. I enjoy the atmosphere with the large bar area and the open chef area with the fresh dough up front. The spaghetti over cooked and the sauce underwhelming lacks flavor, Caesar salad way overdressed.
Rocklins food is so much better not even close.
Last time I had chicken piccata and it was fantastic. Had chicken fettuccine Alfredo this time and wasn't as good. The jalapeño appetizers are still fantastic !!!
