Clean and cosy Chinese eatery with very friendly owners. The taste of their fragrant dry pot (hotpot without boiling broth) is extremely authentic. The beef was the most tender I've had for this dish, besting many joints I have eaten at in Asia. This is a gem in SF and if you want authentic Chinese food that is reasonably priced, you should check this place out.
The restaurant is simple and clean. We ordered a lot of dishes. They were all good. For me, the best dish was Suan Cai Yu . It was a resplendent dish full of delicious tender fish slices, delicately pickled mustard greens, and crunchy sprouts, all immersed in a most tangy savory soup. This dish stimulated our appetite. It was perfect to eat with rice. Both of us were very satisfied with the food and the reasonable prices, and we had to get takeout boxes because there was so much food. I‘ll return again.
The shrimp fried rice was delicious but the spicy chicken tasted weird to me.
I am very picky in terms of what I call good Chinese food in the US. Most Chinese restaurants in SF are bad - even the famous ones. BUT I FINALLY FOUND MY LOVE!!! I will be ordering from this restaurant every week!!!! Please don’t go out of business!!!!!!
