One star for the view and one more for the food. Wish we had spent our anniversary somewhere where we felt welcomed. We came here for our wedding anniversary. We have a toddler and among other complications which caused late planning. When we reserved, we asked for a window seat because it’s our anniversary and we hardly get to come out with our busy lives. The hostess was extremely rude texting us as a matter of fact that we will not be sitting next to the window but we would be getting a booth. I told her that it’s our anniversary and would want the view because we actually were coming mostly for the view, and would rather not get seated in a dark corner which would ruin our experience. When we got to the restaurant the hostess was very standoffish. We saw there were plenty of tables by the window available, she just did not like that we requested for window for our anniversary. Not because we were just randomly feeling entitled for a window seat but that it was a special occasion. She sat us next to a window seat anyway but did not look happy about it. She never greeted us, and when I said thank you, she did not respond. She gave us the cold shoulder the entire time while seating us. I’m guessing she didn’t bother telling the waitress it was our anniversary because even the waitress didn’t greet us like we have been greeted in the past when it’s a special occasion. The waitress was nice enough but felt she was stretched thin managing multiple tables all by herself that we had a very long wait time. It was our first time coming to a restaurant during a special occasion that felt like no one really cared or bothered to put in effort to make us feel happy to be there. They all frankly looked sad, depressed, and wished they were not having to work today. When we were ordering our food at 10:30am for brunch, everything we wanted was sold out. This would have been a better experience if the hostess while seating us let us know in advanced what items were sold out. We heard other tables experiencing the same issue… as they spent lots of time perusing the menu, only to be told when the waitress arrived that it was not available. The waitress was nice enough to substitute Dungeness crab Benedict with salmon since they were out of literally 80% of the seafood items we wanted… despite this being a seafood restaurant. When we got our food, the person came out giving us someone else’s order. We had to tell the waitress AND the person what our orders are. It’s embarrassing that you can’t do something as standard as remember what your customers in an half empty restaurant ordered. Even my latte and my husband cappuccino got mixed up. After paying and walking out, the hostess did not bother saying thank you. Just completely stood there and did not look at us, once again giving us the cold shoulder. Overall, the food was slightly above average and the view was nice. The service was absolutely terrible. I will not be coming back here nor would I recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of delicious places to eat in Seattle with water views. We also felt that the owner was also oblivious about how unprofessional his hostess was being.

This place was amazing! You pay and the quality meets the price point. We had cocktails, oysters, and entrees (scallops and miso cod), and lavender crème brûlée. Everything I would get again. We will be back ☺️☺️ Note: I used the valet parking and it was 15 dollars. I didn’t see any self parking but I could have missed it ‍♀️

They didn't let us in for being 15 min late to our reservation on a special occasion. We were late due to ongoing protests and road closures. Reservation was at 1:45 and we arrived at 2:02. On Google it says they close at 2pm but they were not willing to let in a reservation by 2 minutes. Really wanted to like this place.

Dinner service here is almost a club atmosphere. We had a 7:30 reservation, the music over the speakers was loud. At 8pm it was turned up. Our server was very busy and left for a water spill at the next table when we were trying to order. He disappeared afterward instead of coming back to our table. Fifteen minutes later we decided we were tired of yelling at each other over the music and went to the hostess stand to pay for the soda we had ordered. We encountered the waiter in passing with a tray of drinks for another table and gave him cash for the soda and bother. Then the live band started up. The 45 minutes that we spent in the restaurant was exhausting. I left five stars for the food because we didn't try any. Keep in mind the dinner menu entrees start at $42. Plan on dropping $100/person if you want apps or drinks. This isn't the sort of atmosphere I'm used to for that price tag.
