Sip of Saigon

We have gotten multiple to-go orders. The food is amazing and sooo fresh! We’ve tried the spring rolls, the bun bowl, pho, and the sandwich. All delicious. The service is friendly and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is so cute and inviting with comfortable chairs. If you haven’t tried this place yet, go for it. You won’t be disappointed!

This is my favorite place in the Reno/Sparks area for authentic Vietnamese food. I was born in Saigon and lived in San Jose for years and this is one of the best bowls of Pho I've had. I've tried about 6-7 different drinks and they are all delicious, especially the Yuzu lemonade. Also one of the few places you can get Banh Mi with cha (Saigon Banh Mi) The owner and staff are so welcoming and attentive! Service is fast, the restaurant is clean and decorated well. Can't recommend this place enough (and I have many times!) to all of my friends and family who I've successfully converted.

I have been to Sip of Saigon a handful of times for take out & have enjoyed the Sip Fried Rice as well as the Special BBQ Pork spring rolls. I went in for dinner with 3 friends on Friday evening. I felt like something fresh & light, so I ordered the BBQ spring rolls. Last time I ordered them, the pork was flavorful, thinly sliced & delicious. When I took my first bite, I realized something was very different. The meat was very thick & similar to a hot dog texture & taste. I went up to the counter & said that I had gotten something different than what I had ordered. The lady looked & said that those were what I ordered. I said that I had ordered the same spring rolls in the past & the meat was much thinner & different. She told me it was the other spring rolls that had a different kind of pork. I went back to the table & took another bite. I was surprised to bite into something crunchy. I went back up to the counter & asked what the crunchiness was. She said it was a crispy egg roll. I told her that, “crispy egg roll” was not in the description. She read all of the ingredients out loud from the posted menu & told me that I was right. I said that I really just wanted what I had ordered last time. She said okay & then told me my total. I was surprised that I was expected to pay more & told her never mind. She said she would ask in the back. I went back to my table. My friends ate their meals & we chatted. I heard the lady telling other workers about the description of the spring rolls & how it didn’t say crunchy egg roll, but she never came over to say anything to me. After about 30 minutes, I was very hungry, so I decided to take out the meat & egg rolls & eat what was left (the picture is what I took out). I was very surprised to be ignored the rest of the night. I am extremely disappointed at how I was treated as well as the ingredients in the spring rolls that in my opinion were not fresh & healthy.

Food is wonderful and excellent service. I have tried the rare beef and shrimp Pho, and it's difficult to decide which one is better.

I thoroughly enjoy the timely service, excellent food and coffee, and friendly atmosphere.

The broth is what sold me here. I love the feel of this place. It has a ma and pa atmosphere to it and is very comfortable.

The pho is phOnomenal. The broth is so tasty. Banh mi with pork belly is also fantastic and the bread is fresh. I also recommend getting the dessert. Very friendly staff and clean, bright space. My only complaint is that the pho noodles were slightly overcooked and the viet coffee's signature bitterness was overshadowed by the sweetness of the condensed milk...still tasty though. Edit: tried the hearty beef noodle soup. It was good but pricey relative to the pho. I'll probably continue getting the pho

Food is good and fresh! The pho is also tasty and enjoyable! The only thing i didn't like it's overpriced it's like an upgraded hole in the wall type of place overall great place to grab lunch or dinner!
