Just ok. Came here from watching a vlog. The soup is still better in Singapore and was quite pricy. Laksa sauce was very watery. I would skip this and just stick with the lemongrass chicken.
I would eat here everyday for every meal if it didn't hurt my wallet and health. I LOVE laksa and I can't get enough of it. The soup is so delicious and addictive I can say that I love laksa more than ramen . Other favorites: curry look funn, hainai chicken rice.
If you are a fan of noodle soups (eg ramen, pho, saimin) or of curry, and never had laksa, you should try it at least once! SingMaTei’s rendition tastes authentic. There was both mifun and saimin noodles inside, and the laksa broth was excellent. At $15.95 + tax for the tofu laksa, many other good (better?) choices could be had at the Makai Food Court, but I have to admit, the portions are generous - enough for two, if you’re not super hungry. 5 Stars. Hainan Chicken Rice didn’t taste very fresh and lacked flavor. Maybe lack of turnover from insufficient sales? 3 Stars.
アラモアナショッピングセンター内の フードコートにあります。 レモングラスポークチョップラクサ 15.657ドルをいただきました。 日本人の口にも合って とても美味しかったです。
Always wanted to try this place. Had no idea what to order ended up with lemongrass chicken with the blue rice and a couple Thai teas. Overall an excellent value the meal was just under $15 and the tea $8. Next time I will likely skip the tea to make the meal more affordable and cut down on sugar. It was a large enough portion that me and hubby could share, probably not two hungry teenagers. Found the quality quite good. Would recommend asking for and paying if necessary for extra sauce, would have loved more, it was yummy. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful, however she didn't speak enough English to help with allergy questions.
The beef curry had no flavor whatsoever, it needed to have a lot more salt and a lot more curry paste or powder. It was just sukiyaki style thinly sliced beef in a watery curry sauce. Disappointing given the reviews. Too much lemongrass flavor and not much coconut flavor in the rice. I was expecting something like a beef rendang.
Great taste but they reduced the curry portion drastically. Now mostly chicken and rice. Both are tasty, but the reduction in curry is unfortunate.
Delicious, unique Singaporean cuisine hidden within the downstairs confines of the Ala Moana Mall Food Court. I find myself enduring the arduous task of parking in Ala Moana at least once a week for the Hainan chicken (weekends only) or the curry beef and rice. Terrific laksa as well. Highly recommend for those looking for an extremely unique and delicious Asian cuisine. Worth the trip to bustling Ala Moana every time.
