To be honest I didn't love it here. We made a booking and had to wait 15 minutes. Still the food was extremely spicy and we were given no direction on this from the wait stuff. The food itself didn't even taste that great. Maybe we ordered badly, but again, why should there be bad things? The staff should have given us direction to help make sure we get the right way of going. The drinks were good however, but it left a bad taste in our mouth and by that I mean an absolute burningness because we're giving zero direction and I'm good with spice but this was just not right for not giving us the direction on what we were ordering and what we were doing

Their kitchen was very backed up when we ate here (630 reso on a Friday night for 2, not all tables full). Drinks came fast but food took forever for a lot of tables. Our curry puff appetizer took 20mins to come, not sure if they simply forgot since it came within a few min after we reminded them No comp just an apology when they realized how long the food was taking for all the tables. Food itself was decent. I liked the laksa and char kway teow. But it was extremely pricey. This is not anywhere close to Thai Villa or Pranakhon level of food quality and service, which I can justify the price. So, I think the value isn’t really worth it and I would not return. I would rather go to Nyonya in Chinatown or Hawker food court in midtown for my Malaysian/Singaporean cravings

Nasi lemak for US$29?!?!?!? Haha. You Americans dunno how you are getting ripped off for essentialist a cheap dish. Nasi lemak is at most US$4-8 in south east Asia. And probably taste better too. It’s crazy the prices you guys are willing to fork out for essentially street food.

My hubbie took me here for a date night since we were no longer going to Singapore as planned and he wanted me to have at the very least a Singapore foodie experience..the restaurant had great decor and atmosphere.. the only odd thing though is that they “kindly” mentioned that we had 1.5 hours for dining..which was surprising since it was a policy used during the pandemic which we are no longer in.. however the food was great the staff friendly and we had a great time.. we had the Roti, crispy chicken wings which were amazing, chicken Satay, the beef, fried rice and Singapore noodles..

The food was delicious! We got the roti prata, which was so soft and the curry was flavourful. I felt the curry was not enough for the size of prata but would still recommend trying it. For my main course I got the Singapore-Style Char Kway Teow with vegetables and tofu. There were not as many tofu pieces but the dish was still absolutely delicious, highly recommend as well! My husband got the Banana leaf wrapped rice which he enjoyed. We went on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm the restaurant started to fill up around 8 pm so I would suggest booking a reservation.
