Simply Fish

Based on a friendly recommendation, we dined at Simply Fish tonight. What a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed the fresh Ahi, both seared and grilled, delicious. Derek, the owner sat with us to discuss his new concept and treated us to a couple of his favorite appetizers. This is an establishment that offers an uncommon value proposition, fresh fish cooked to order, including sides, with most entrees below $20. If you ventured along 17th in Newport Beach or along restaurant row on PCH, you'd easily pay twice as much for smaller portions, and questionable freshness. Simply Fish is well worth the visit!

Great fresh fish and vegetables. Also, we love to go there and watch Football while eating dinner or lunch. The calamari is the best, especially for the price.

I had the fish tacos along with the corn and it was so delicious!! The agave vanilla craft soda was delicious and the refills just kept coming. It was a Sunday afternoon and hardly anyone was there which was nice. My husband had the filet mignon skewers and all I can say is wow, cooked to perfection. Also the french fries were so crispy and tasty.

AMAZING table service, everyone is so nice and wow the food is incredible!

I’ve been going to simply Fish for the past year I used to go to the other location in Newport Beach but since we started going to this place, everything was great. The food is amazing there but lately the service has gone down I went today and somebody said us down for 10 minutes no one even came to check to see if we’re ready, while another customer was checked on three times so we ended up getting up and leaving. I had to give one star just because I think a place like that should have a much better service but if you’re the type of person that doesn’t care about service display has amazing food.
