Super tasty menu and great atmosphere! Our table had the steak and eggs, beet carpaccio and ricotta goat cheese sandwich. We cleaned our plates!
It was a pleasant time and place.
One of the best original spots left in Williamsburg. The food is fantastic and, better yet, its consistent. Highly recommend.
Love this spot! Especially have enjoyed the mint tea and the lemon ricotta pancakes; look forward to exploring more! I think this will be my ‘spot’ when in Wburg
favorite brunch spot in the city with a refreshing selection of dishes and flavors. the space is beautiful and service has always been wonderful.
Did you know that you can get delicious Algerian food at @simplecafebrooklyn in Williamsburg, Brooklyn!? The cafe is super cute and minimalist with an airy, natural vibe. The tchoutchouka I had was surprisingly light and refreshing. Different from what I was expecting. It went so well with the bread. I loved the crepes! The texture is so light and airy and the dates, apricots, and honey added just the right amount of sweetness to it. I’m also obsessed with Algerian mint tea. I like my tea without sugar and it was such a nice closure to the meal. I felt comfortably full afterwards after eating a variety of food. They also have a small shop attached that sells nice home goods! Loved the experience
we came for brunch and were really excited to try french-Algerian food, but we were really disappointed by the dishes we tried. a lot of us got the steak frites, and we all felt that the steak was lacking flavor/needed more salt and the fries were soggy. similarly, people who got the burger felt the same way that it was under seasoned. With french food, it doesn’t necessarily need a lot of different seasonings, but that means the quality of the ingredients need to shine, which we didn’t feel was the case.
