Simmer Down Cafe

Y'all please flood this place with business. I was there Wednesday evening first time.They deserve it. Hard working good people here. Hands down one of the best chicken fried steak dinners I have ever had. I ordered double mashed potatoes and they use real potatoes which is must. The portion was perfect. Oh and on top of that they give you a biscuit that will make you wonder why you don't come every morning. My only 2 critiques.... 1)Can I please get 2 biscuits haha 2) I can't tell you how many times I have passed by this place leaving the lake. I live 40 min away and I am not local. I didn't know it was there aside from a Google search. Keep it up please. We need more places like this all over. We will definitely visit each time we go camping or take our boat out.

Everyone enjoyed their food, good service at a very reasonable price. Probably will be coming back.

This place was amazing. Food was great, and it is a small place off the beat and path. I will shall return.

This is a hidden jewel near Sun City. The food is so good and very generous portions. The menu has something for everyone in a quiet environment.

Went for the tea party. Rudely turned away because we didn't have a reservation. Nowhere on the flyer. Didn't it say make a reservation. It said come join us!! Could have been nicer when turning us away!

Good simple food. Awesome service and very casual atmosphere. If you are looking for real grits, egg and bacon, this is your place.

We were excited to try it, but we got burnt food that had to be returned and when it came back it was too salty, and the burger was too dry and was over cooked. My mother in law and I wanted to split the chicken fry and they charged us $7 for an extra plate, just the plate.

Excellent tacos and nice place to spend time with our friends.
