Signature Grill with Patio Dining

The chicken enchiladas were terrible, super salty which the server would have known but she never checked on us once until it was time to pay the bill. The burger was good. The server was perhaps spread too thinly but still no excuse.way overpriced for what you get just like the resort in general. Hostess also snootty and never smiled or greeted us as we entered or left.

It had been years since we visited this lovely resort but decided to do their Easter Brunch at $110 pp. we had a reservation and were seated right next to the server station. When I asked if we could have another of their several empty tables… the young lady said they were specifically assigned to certain people… what? Okay. Underwhelming on the food/brunch for that price point, and to only include a few standard breakfast beverages was a bummer. They had tons of inexpensive filler foods… the French toast was cold, the scalloped potatoes crunchy (eg potatoes still raw). My hubby did get his fill of shrimp and I enjoyed a couple of the very nice desserts they had on display. It was unclear if Mimosas were included, as we were never offered and noticed at the end other tables imbibing. Server Brenda was absolutely the best part of the entire experience… all smiles and very attentive. The valet guys were great too.

I got a fish tacos for lunch and it was great. However, my server was taking a long time and I felt neglected waiting for my dessert and check. I ordered them all at the same time and I was there by myself so I thought it would be faster but it's not.

Well Zach, you had a rough day. I wish you the best. Started with a 20 person line to get seated. Staff didn't seem to care. Sat down. Upgraded to the full buffet. Ordered pancakes (never came after 40 min and asking twice) and juice/coffee. We finished a plate of food including a made to order omlette before the drinks came (after asking again). Watched multiple other tables get their food after sitting after us. Table next to us (also Zach's table) walked out from frustration. Service charge is conveniently added though. Not sure why the team deserved it. I expect more from a JW resort. You guys won this time.

Every year for my birthday I take myself out to a nice lunch alone. Since I had been to this restaurant and bar several times over the last few months, I went back today. My go to is the Ahi Tuna Tostadas. Fresh and cut perfectly. It’s not a tartar, it’s full chunks of tuna! (I should have taken a photo.) I sat at the bar and Ari was amazing! She not only made recommendations for cocktails but she also checked on me frequently and was so friendly! My food came out timely and was so delicious! The bar area is quiet and since it was a Friday afternoon, there was not a lot of people there. It’s really pretty at night too when the stars are out. The staff brought me out this birthday dessert but since I was so full, I was only able to eat the cheesecake! Thank you all for a great experience!

Very poor service. Wait staff are mediocre at best. Our first of 5 meals had an ‘up charge’ for the breakfast buffet. When asked what it was for we were told it is an up charge, then the waiter walked away. When asked what the up charge was when he came back, he told us the buffet and walked away again. We had to ask detailed questions over the course of 4 interactions with him to understand that there are two buffets, but still didn’t know what was part of buffet 1 vs 2. Got a full answer the next day, but both waiters made us feel like we are idiots to not know what is part of full vs Continental. Still don’t know why we were never told there were two buffets when we first sat down. This is typical of our interactions. Food was fine. Don’t plan on returning to this JW based on the poor operations and customer service. Worst JE experience we have had.

Food was pretty good but what made the experience so great was our server Terry. He was the best server I have ever seen!

Came for an event in the banquet area. Gabby was our server and she was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly. The service was outstanding. Lizeth was our go to bartender. She easily made the best drinks. Our whole table loved her! She was engaging and fun even when she was working fast to get the line of people taken care of.
