Not the most welcoming bartenders speaking from a black girl experience. Although they had great cocktails and food, I would probably never go back.

The burger was juicy with hints of fresh oregano. Burrata had a beautiful presentation with bright Citrus flavors. We had friend with a garlic allergy and they made something special for her, since what she wanted wasn't available. They even brought us dessert. The blackberry lemon curd cheesecake was perfect. Thanks again. We even forgot to take pictures!

The food was amazing. We had the salmon, chicken Masada, and the chicken fried steak. All amazing! Substituted mashed potatoes for the fingerling potatoes at the server's suggestion. Great idea! It's kind of loud of a Saturday night, but it's a great vibe. Can't wait to eat there again.

Probably the best salmon I have ever had. Crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside, flavor was tremendous. Cocktails were great, and our server was attentive and very accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Very satisfied with the food and service!

We really enjoyed Sidebar. First, their Manhattans are fantastic, if you can nail a classic cocktail then we're off to a good start. I had three. We ordered the salmon and a salad and both were fantastic. The salmon was sitting on a bed of lentils (?), I think, but whatever it was was very good. This isn't the cheapest place in Oakland but I don't feel like we were ripped off, either. Also, the staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, that's huge these days.
