Currently, the best Sichuan encountered in San Francisco — perfectly spicy, numbing just enough. An elegant balance in mala resulting in a near bottomless appetite that can last hours. Tan Tan Noodles, gets the mala to sesame proportion just right. Spicy Beef Tendon, an excellent cold appetizer for those adventurous in texture. Cumin Lamb, comforting, savory and flavorful. Chonqing Chili Chicken, however, not a strong suit. The private dining room in the back — a treat. Portrait view of green garden stone landscape, impressive.
My friend and I went here for dinner for the first time and it was very authentic and delicious, we will go again.
Nice chinese if you like Szechuan cooking, spicy and full of flavor.
A very good Sichuan restaurant in the Richmond. As with all good authentic Chinese restaurants, It takes a few trips to really learn what to get but it is worth it every time.
