Shunka Sushi & Japanese Cuisine

Only Sushi to ever make me sick

You can count on Shunka to have fairly high quality, fresh nigiri. The last time I went the quality had dropped a bit since the last time, which was admittedly before the pandemic, and the nigiri was on the thinner side of acceptable. It didn't help that I had just recently eaten at Sushi Shibucho which is hard to top locally but is also catered to a different audience without much in the way of ambiance and none of the American style saucy rolls.

Excellent sushi here! Both times I'm in Huntington, I've visited this restaurant. soo soo good!

The sashimi was really great quality but I thought the rolls were just okay. Would come back but there's some better sushi in the area.
