Delicious food for a great price!

Soooooo ONO! We had the special which was a Laulau plate. We also got the Kalbi ribs plate. So God. Highly recommend and will revisit.

Shoyu Sugar has become one of my family's favorite restaurants! Every bite is filled with flavor and you can taste the love that is put into each meal! The rice is cooked to perfection, the chicken, ribs, beef -- everything really never fails to exceed expectations. We are truly grateful that we have such a hidden gem here in the heart of Texas, and every bite leaves our bellys with the Aloha state of mind. Highly recommend!

Excellent and authentic! Highly recommend checking out Shoyu Sugar if you love Hawaiian BBQ or good food! I was born and raised in Hawaii and miss the food. This definitely hit the spot.

The Hawaiian food at Shoyu sugar is the best in Austin. The loco moco is my favorite and a monthly special. I also think they have the best chicken katsu and some of the best kalbi in Austin. I recommend the red rocks plate when it’s available. The food here is MEAN! and the owners are so nice! And you can’t beat those prices. They also do 1/2 portions of food!
