Consistently great pizzas. The service can get slow on busy nights. There is a good vibe in there. Old and new patrons share the place quite well.
Best pizza in Atlanta! Incredibly delicious crust, lots and lots of cheese and pepperoni and red onions— The best we ever had— and Jeff knows his pizza because it is one of his favorites! Also, the person who took our order, and the person who checked us out of the register, were very pleasant and friendly. I only wish that we had tried Shorty’s Pizza years and years ago instead of going to other pizza places! Nail, it will be our only place to eat pizza. Great pizza, great people, and great service— the best in Atlanta!!
This is a real brick oven pizza place that has some very cool specialty pizzas, i.e the Weird AL Jankovic and the Tina Turner, but overall, the pizzas are quite tasty, with a good crust and fresh ingredients. Staff here are super chill and friendly and make each visit more like hanging with friends, friends who bring you tasty food and cold drinks. Love the Caprese Stack and the Key lime Pie are chef's kiss. This place is Highly Recommended.
Food and staff are always top shelf.
I want to have better things to say about Shorty’s, it has such promise. The people are friendly and the food is good. But their location is rundown and flat out dirty inside. The women’s bathroom is bordering on gross. They have piles of stuff stacked around, there’s a layer of grime on everything. They really need to step up the standards of cleanliness so I can truly enjoy the food and atmosphere. Also, when we went today there was a guy behind the counter who I assume is a manager. He was just talking (flirting?) with all the servers, and eating snacks behind the bar. I love a laid back spot, but this was unprofessional and probably a distraction for the women who were trying to do their job.
Pizzas and sandwiches are always delicious and the service is great!
