Shoney's

Since this Shoneys location is closing at week's end, after 40 years, only food bar buffet option was available. Plenty of employees on hand to wait tables and replenish food bar items. Building is quite old and in need of repair. Hopefully a new restaurant will rebuild at this prime location.

Me and my Girlfriend dined here this past Sunday. This was my first time at a Shoney’s since the Oxford, Al location closed in 2020. I found out through Facebook this location is closing on January 27th for good. So we decided to come. It was delicious. The Food was just right. We actually had to wait a few minutes for a Table. I’m not sure why this location is closing but I seriously think Shoney’s needs to rethink this decision. I overheard nearly every table letting the server know Shoney’s will be missed. Hopefully another good Restaurant will come in this location and not more shopping stores. The service was excellent. Brought back many memories of dining at the Oxford and Anniston locations growing up. Thanks for the delicious Food and excellent service.

This a review to the owner of shoneys..YOU HAVE MADE A HUGH MISTAKE CLOSING SHONEYS!! IT WAS THE MOST POPULAR PLACE TO EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST! next you put several people out of work..the only place that serves a buffet breakfast is western sizzling and it is terrible!! You will see your mistake when no one shows up at whatever you put in there ...sad

I love this place. Nice servers. Great salad bar. Just a place that holds good memories and has consistently good food.
