very cold food unable to eat my food was all binned. fries were very oily. i was on break it took forever i had to walk out

Came here with my wife and kids. Tried the chicken shokupan sandwich which was really nice! Soft and tasty. The customer service was outstanding! Felt welcomed and looked after. The cookies were also delicious! Will definately be paying another visit soon to try the other items on the menu! Would definately recommend this place!!

The team comprising of Zahra, Janet, abdirahman, jasper & Tej was so efficient, friendly and polite! Really recommend the Deserts which are definitely a treat to eyes and taste buds.

Really good food. I had the Hot Pepper Chicken meal and the fries were great too.

It's always welcoming to see more and more Japanese restaurants open here in Birmingham. Shokupan aka plain bread, is focused on a particular aspect of Japanese cuisine, which is the milk bread. In this restaurant you will find sandwiches, whose selling point will be the quality taste and texture of the bread and not the stuff in-between them . And to top it off everything is Halal. Given the central location, seating space is understandably limited but should have been better.
