Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar

Everything was so delicious and the service was great. Had the Spicy Miso Ramen and would definitely recommend. We also tried the Sashimi Sampler and it was very good. We had to try the Original Honey Toast and it was worth it. Give it a try.

I heard alot about this place and had big expectations. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming.

I had high expectations from this place; The photographs show a reputable restaurant, but it turned out to be more like a diner. The interior is old and unattractive, the toilet is in terrible condition. The food was disappointing. Despite the small number of guests, the waiters seemed overworked, forgetting to bring us food on time and generally neglecting to serve tea, to top it off they added it to the bill which was a bummer. I will not be back.

The service was pretty good, but the food isn't special like it used to be when Shokudo occupied the larger space nearby. It's become generic. Their Dynamite dish pales in comparison to the real one at Imanasu-Tei. Also, it's kind of strange that the dinner menu offers less choice than the lunch menu. Parking: There's validated parking nearby, but not sure how many slots. Also, it's kind of hard to find.
