Fast-casual Japanese/Asian fusion restaurant that does more than brisk takeout business as the dining tables (indoor and outdoor) are ample enough for perhaps 80(?) diners! The sashimi was fresh and clean! The sushi rolls were properly done and yummy! The apps and entrée options were varied and what we tried (General Tso's & spicy red pepper chicken dishes) were tasty, along with the small bowls of soup and salad! I would recommend to any for a quick lunch or a dinner with family/friends! We spent $65(+tax) for a full specialty roll, 1 nigiri, 1 sashimi, 2 entrées, 1 beer for 2 adults with a box of leftovers! The prices seemed fair for the portions, quality, brick-and-mortar, and Bidenomics stagflation currently. Vegetarian options: Why be a vegetarian? Humans are omnivorous, but it you must be vegetarian, then this place has vegetarian options all over the menu. I enjoyed my fish and scallop and chicken, but also my broccoli, cabbage, ginger, Wasabi, tofu, soy sauce, etc. Parking: Parking spots all around the restaurant/shopping center (no parking fees/meters, as one would expect around here) Kid-friendliness: There were many little children there and they seemed to be fine with the seating available (e.g. high chairs) Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps onto both the patio and sidewalk into the doorway (no stairways inside, all on ground floor), so it seems to be wheelchair accessible
This was my first time visiting Shoccu, and I wasn't disappointed! A beautiful atmosphere and helpful and attentive staff, and the food was wonderful! They had a more unique selection of sushi than many other places in town, but their combinations were well thought-out and very tasty! The fried rice was also excellent! I definitely recommend!
