Discovering this restaurant was like uncovering a hidden gem. Every dish we tried was a delight, particularly the spicy chicken and spicy potato. My wife's choice of chicken shawarma was equally impressive. It's rare to find a place where the food is so flavored that it needs no additional seasoning or sauce, but this was definitely the case here. The dishes were not only delicious but also had the perfect texture, elevating our dining experience to a new level. This has quickly become my go-to spot for Middle Eastern cuisine. The spicy potato, a dish I was initially uncertain about, turned out to be unexpectedly and incredibly flavorful. What truly sets this restaurant apart, though, is the exceptional service. The young man who attended to us was the epitome of professionalism, striking the perfect balance between being attentive and giving space, a quality rarely mastered by many in the service industry. His cultural sensitivity and mannerisms greatly enhanced our comfort and overall dining experience. My wife and I came from San Diego to San Ramon to visit a family member. We went out for dinner and went to Shish Grill. We ordered the Saturday special dish wish came with a succulent lamb slow oven roasted with divine flavoring to the point where the lamb meat fell right off the bone. The plate came with rice with mix vegetables with added incredible spices. It was the best lamb dish we have ever had. Even above a 5 star restaurant. We also ordered tabúlele which is a salad made with fresh parsley, tomatoes, lemon and olive oil. This was by far the best olive oil we’ve ever had. We later found out that it comes from an olive orchard family owned in Lebanon. We could go on an on about the different dishes we had but then there will be no surprise delicacy left to discover. You most come and try it all for yourself. Our complements to the chef and the owners of this outstanding family restaurant!

Wow, I haven’t had Lebanese food this good in a very long time. Even better than what I’ve had in London which is about as good as you can get outside Lebanon. Truly a hidden gem in the Bay Area. The Lebanese moussaka is outstanding, as is the spicy chicken and the lamb shish plate. Looking forward to trying more items. Cannot get better Mediterranean food than this anywhere in the Bay

Food and dessert is a 10/10. Loved the shawarma and knafe. ‏تبولة was bomb. Amazing customer service. Will definitely come back :)

Think over 35 visits for Lunch and the Couples Dinner ! Every friend and extended family member love Shish Grill. Here is why I Rave about this wonderful place R - Recent visit had the chance to meet both Chef Nancy and Gus. Excellent owners who deeply care about the quality and ambiance. A - Always just like the first time I ordered a menu item. Basically consistent mix of flavors that tantalize the palate and large entree portions that could be shared between 2 to 3 people V - Very large portions, consistently. Had to take two-thirds of my Spicy Chicken home E - Eggplant or specifically the " baba ganoush " My favorite each time I visit. It has the flavors of rich & smoky eggplant, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice and garlic plus Chef Nancy's love & caring. One, two, three, four, FIVE Stars ! I approve of this rating, Jay M.
