Shi's is hands down best treats & service! Shi's always have events for her customers/community to participate in also. This restaurant is quaint but the variety of toppings, fillings, & treats are whatever the heart desires. Not too sweet, but just sweet enough banana pudding the way grandma use to make it( with love)!

The shop is so cute and quaint. A very inviting atmosphere and the staff is a lovely group of people. I came all they way up from the south and the food did not disappoint! I’m addicted to the banana pudding and the shop is filled with the most delicious smell of baked breads. The owner of the shop is so kind and I really wish I could pack the entire shop up and take it back home with me! Vegetarian options: The pasta salad was so flavorful!

Right off the Silverlake light rail station, this hidden gem of a bakery/coffee shop is Shis Cakes and Things. The owner Rashida is a lovely person and you can taste the loving kindness in her banana bread. The atmosphere is pleasant and kind friendly with board games, books, and other fun knick knacks for people to enjoy when they come in. Stop by and indulge your sweet tooth, with the fairly priced treats, family friendly bakery. I cannot talk enough about it, you must go and experience it for yourself!

Secret is out Don't walk RUN!!! Shi's Cakes’ Coffeehouse is ALL that! I'm new to the area and I've found a great coffee shop. My chai latte was so darn good!!! ❤ I picked a cherry pudding cheesecake that had me wanting more! I met the owner and she was very sweet and welcoming. I will make this a regular stop.

Lovely shop, delicious desserts, awesome coffee, and super nice staff!

Have visited this shop several times and have always been super pleased with the coffee and deserts. Today i had a latte with a stirred strawberry cheese cake. Both were spot on, prepared with care. We were offered a sample of her banana bread and pudding and both were also delicious. It’s going to be tough to decide what to get when I go back but thats a good problem to have. We chatted awhile with the owner who is just great. We love her mission to build community. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

The baked goods and food here are great, and the pricing is fair. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for dessert, or just want to randomly visit a bakery/grab some coffee on the way home! We were greeted by the owner/manager. She was very friendly, charming, professional, knowledgeable and respectful! She gave us good recommendations without being pushy, and also gave us helpful baking tips. (P.S. The top/outer crust didn't quite come out the same as yours, but the banana bread tips you gave us were great, and it came out very tasty! Definitely better than our previous batches.)
