Shinta Japanese BBQ

This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I had a reservation for 7:30pm on Saturday. We did not have to wait upon arrival to get our table. There are three choices for All You Can Eat: The Gold, which is $145. 99/person, The Silver, which is $99.99/person and The Black, which is $45.99/person. At the beginning things were going relatively well. There is a time limit for dinner, which is two hours and supposedly at one hour and thirty minutes you get informed that you have the last chance to order food. In my case we were told at one hour and fifteen minutes that It was our last call to ask for food. We order it and inmediately we got the bill, without even complete cooking the food we had on the grill. I was very disappointed with this rude attitude were we practically were kicked out. Note that this place does not accept credit cards. Only cash or Canadian debit cards. The bill has automatically included 12% service, which I would not give after the bad experience me and my family had in this place, which I will never come back and do not recommend. There are other Japanese BBQ restaurants with a much better quality and service for a similar price than the Black menu here.

This place is so amazing! Husband and I got to enjoy the silver menu, and holy moly was the meat so good. Our favorites were the wagu sirloin steak, the chef selected wagu cuts, wagu steak, house special steak, and chicken thighs. The only setback is the 2-hour time limit. If you're going to this place with other people, you'll have to just focus on eating. The overall experience did feel rushed, but nonetheless, good. Amazing service by Chris, our server

Went here several times with families and kids, definitely best Wagyu ayce place in Toronto! Daniel was the waiter we met most and he's very nice and patient, ask for allegies everytime. A great place for friends gatherings!

I wanted to specifically thank our server - Theresa for the great, attentive service she provided. As someone who had worked in the industry, I do notice that service qualities of restaurants have degraded massively over the last decade and it's rare to see her being able to deliver such level of high quality service in a busy restaurant. Thank you Shinta, and thank you Theresa. We'll definitely be back

Shout out to Ann! Lovely service ! She is very productive, provided great recommendations in terms of food! There’s a lot of selections on the menu, great quality of meat. The seatings are very comfortable too. This place would be lovely for date or friends gathering. Would definitely come back again;))

I had a wonderful dining experience at Shinta BBQ! Josh provided fantastic service, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend trying their barbecue dishes – you won’t be disappointed!
