Shine's BBQ

I always get the half chicken and potato salad and baked beans. Shines has become my favorite place to eat. I usually do take out, but I absolutely love it. Definitely a small town gem. Also the pineapple cobbler is amazing.

I don’t see why everyone raves about this place ate here today 2-7-24 for the first time wasn’t impressed first off the prices are way to high for the amount you get. I ordered the pork plate with 2 sides for $12 drink xtra and when it was brought out I was highly disappointed like where’s the rest of it pictured below is what was brought to me. What they call a pork plate very small portions don’t even come with bread everything was cold like leftovers the sauce is so watery it’s like flavored /colored water I have been to many different bbq place and when you get a plate it usually comes with a decent amount of meat sides and toast / roll for the amount of food you get for $12 is simply not worth the stop when I spend my hard earned money I want value and good food that’s why I didn’t order the bologna sandwich $ 8 is way to high I can make over a weeks worth of sandwiches for $8 very disappointed in wasting my money here I could’ve just went to the Mexican restaurant just past them and ate an all u can eat buffet for less money but I always hear you got to try shines bbq in fyffe I did and is was a costly visit leaving my wallet and my stomach empty. I will not be giving future visits I know Biden inflation's cost but damn

I've ate there a couple times average at best actually brisket was pretty good above average but here's the problem I live on lookout mountain decided to drive out to shines on sand mountain so I pulled them up online it was 430 pm websight said open closes at 7 I head out there about 20 miles I pull up 515 lights out and nobody there if they are that independent they can't post online if they close early I can live without them I won't be back!!!!!

BBQ was fatty and very greasy. A little pricey.
