Absolutely amazing experience! I almost never write reviews, but this place was so incredible that I had to this time. We went on a Friday night and did the 7-course tasting menu and drink pairing at the chef's counter. I'm sure it's not part of the experience every time, but it actually turned into about a 9-course tasting because they served some extras not on the menu that they were excited to share. Every aspect was incredible. Starting off, before we even arrived, with personalized contact from Brian to ensure that they knew everything from our names, if it was special occasion, dietary restrictions, etc. It was clear they wanted to make sure it was a special experience for us before we even stepped foot in the restaurant. On arrival the environment was incredible and the whole staff was friendly and consistently went out of their way to make the evening memorable. The food was, of course, incredible. But even more enjoyable was the detailed explanation of both the food we were being served and the wine choices for pairing. We learned a lot about how they prepared the food, where the ingredients were locally sourced from, etc. Not only was it informative, but their true passion for the quality of what they were serving really shined through. Just as top notch as the food, the service was incredible. They were true professionals that knew exactly how to strike the balance between being highly attentive without interfering with our date. The pacing of the servings was absolutely spot on. We neither had to wait between courses nor had courses stacking up. Everything was executed flawlessly. Hands down the best dining experience I've ever had. Great food, great environment, and absolutely exceptional service. We will be back for sure and will enthusiastically recommend it to anyone seeking a top-notch dining experience. Extremely well done!

Do not miss this gem! We were welcomed warmly upon arrival. Our table was at the window, and we were lucky to have sunlight on this fine morning. Our service was impeccable. And the chef's Playlist was spot on to create a fun brunch. Fresh ingredients are paramount. There are herbs grown in the elevated pots outside the building. You can taste it in every bite. The menu descriptions do not do the offerings justice- the flavors and tastes are so much more and words can describe! We started with a blackberry mimosa. Fresh blackberries reduced to a syrup and served with bubbles. We may have split not 1 but 2 carafes. Yes. Its that good. Also sharing our table was a bloody Mary. She was later coming to the party as the Fresh tomatoes were being blended and puree made. Married with fresh horseradish and other magical infusions. Normally a heavier drink that is full of salt. Nope. This drink was light and tasted of fresh tomatoes and horseradish which was present but not overbearing. Yes. Worth ordering again (which happened this same meal) To start, the deviled eggs. '"Creamy and dreamy" And yes, they were. Just get them. The little bits of pickle atop makes for a small textural crunch and a small zing of taste. The breakfast burrito. Look at that beauty! Porkbelly with fresh ingredients. A little added house made hot sauce and salsa. I dont know what to say. Delightful! Croque madame. The ham used was of superior quality. The freshness of the egg shone through- and look how that yolk has a beautiful color and stands firm. This is about as fresh as it gets. Perfectly toasted. And paired with greens that boast a tangy dressing. But mixed all in one bite is heavenly. The veggie hash. Looked amazing! And it was gone before I was able to taste or get a review. Apparently quite popular and delicious! And lastly the desserts. The apple pie. So good, I'm bringing 2 of them with me on my flight home.Madeline's- who doesnt love these? Lightly crisp outside, soft lemon-y inside. the cinnamon roll bread pudding was excellent. I'm not a huge bread pudding fan, but the cinnamon flavor (sans raisins) was a-maze-ing. Lastly the creme puff. Honestly, these should be illegal. O.M.G. Crisp, light pastry. Swirl of vanilla bourbon creme in the middle, surrounding some blueberry curd. Wow. Speechless. Just wow. Ger one. Or 5. And for a late night delight, stop into the bar. Order a cocktail made to your order. You won't be disappointed. I had a chocolate martini- and chose my vodka, light or dark chocolate liquor, butterscotch addition. Spend some time at Shilling Canning Company. The freshness can be tasted in every bite. The welcoming environment ensures I'll be back!

Discovered this place during restaurant week last August and just keep coming back. I’ve probably had the entire menu at this point and it’s always incredible food in an intimate, friendly setting.

I don’t do this often but I can’t believe this restaurant has been around for 5 years and I just ate there for the first time. I just inhaled all the food it was incredible the couple that own the restaurant are so hospitable! Try the Chicken Ballentine (sp?) and Butterscotch if they are serving it.

Great place for brunch! Had a range of cocktails and menu selections for people with varied palettes. Also in a great location near the water and the baseball stadium.
