This was a cool spot right on the beach. We went to the marine conservation aquarium close by and stopped here for a drinks and dinner. They had live music on the patio facing the water with heaters which was nice at night. I had the limeade to drink which was tasty and went down a little too easy. For dinner I went with a Cuban and it was actually really good. This was my first time here, and I was just passing through town on the way back to St Pete. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again to drink and eat.
Fatal el servicio en recepción
I got an impossible burger w/fries. It was really salty. Service, music atmosphere was great. Highly recommended. Valet service. Private beach access. Outdoor music venue...
0/10. Family harassed on Christmas. Manager Megan was disrespectful and rude to our family. Please do not bring your family to this hateful establishment.
Absolutely terrible experience at Shepherds. We were approached by security because the “cameras” caught me buying a drink without an ID. The security guard demanded I show him my ID and I said no, “I just showed my ID to the bartender, you can go back and double check the cameras”. He said that’s not good enough. The manager came over and again said that I didn’t follow the rules of showing a valid ID, (I swear I did) I doubled down and said check the cameras, if the cameras see everything they clearly saw me show a valid ID to the bartender before buying a drink. They threatened to call the police because we were trespassing. I’m 26 with a valid ID. Manager Megan seemed overall very agitated and not happy with customers that tipped 30%. Not a friendly atmosphere at all. I understand the importance of limiting underage drinking but then they should be checking ID’s at the door and wristbanding / stamping. No need for aggressively threatening calling the police after showing your ID at the bar for drinks. Terribly mismanaged, terrible atmosphere. 0/10, would not recommend. Please hire staff that are not disgruntled and stereotyping. So sad to see a great location plagued by hate. We’ve been vacationing in Clearwater for 15+ years and will never go back to Shepherds.
