love this place! its gonna be our new favorite spot!

Honestly as far as seafood boil restaurants go this place is a must. I have been to this restaurant many times with different people and we absolutely love it. Our favorite to grab is combo #1 with mussels, shrimp head off and clams. However, the last couple times I ordered the calms, they were a bit slimy and what seemed to be cooked through properly compared to how it should be but they could be just the clams that they have received but will definitely order again soon! On another good note, I will say their sauces are absolutely filled with lots of flavor profiles especially their house special. It tastes amazing and if you grab a bit of the sauce and put it on white rice, it's a great combo to try. I will also add that their garlic noodles are good however I wish it had a bit more flavor along with the garlic because once you don't get the garlic bits they do taste a bit bland but nevertheless it's worth getting if you crave it. Their calamari and Cajun garlic fries are truly one of the best appetizers you can grab and share with friends and family. Don't miss out on trying this place and seeing for yourself but I promise it won't disappoint! Parking: There is a vast amount of parking due to their being a target on the same lot as well as other stores!

Everything is good there, food is really good service and atmosphere We love that place Parking: Parking is good there are it's a shopping center you can find parking everywhere sometimes I find parking I'm front or on the side of the restaurant Kid-friendliness: It's good for the kids also you can write on the booth wich is cool or you can write something anywhere you find a spot to write something

Great seafood! The only thing I don't like is they have a mandatory 18% service fee for parties of 6, I will say maybe ok for corporate meetings, or any other "Large Party" may be ok but in my case we are not a party of six, we are a family (parent & 4 kids) of six. I also believe the service fee "tip" should still be optional even and according to the generous and service received... I always tip but don't like to fee that is mandatory and even if you get a great or bad service... that is why I don't go there anymore even when Shell Shock is closer to me.

Underrated seafood spot in Hayward! I got one of the bag deals for $85 - comes with dungeness crab, 2 lbs of shrimp, potatoes, sausages, corn. I thought this was a lot of food for 2 people, so its definitely a good bag to share with 3-4 ppl. We also got cajun fries and fresh oysters. The seafood boil bag we got the house special sauce in medium spicy. I didn't think it was that spicy and it's perfect for those who want a kick of spice without overpowering the dish. The sauce is a bit on the sweeter side, but still pretty good. I loved dipping the shrimp and crab in the lemon juice, adds that sour element. The crab and shrimp tasted really fresh, and the crab i got was BIG. So meaty! And it tasted fresh! The last cajun spot I went to, they gave me an old crab that I had to toss away. So I'm really happy Shell Shock stood out in terms of the freshness of the seafood. The cajun fries were also good! The spot was empty on a Monday night, I would highly recommend folks to come out here and support!

Had a nice lunch here . I was a little nervous due to the mix reviews. Had the fried calamari it was not the best Ive ever had but it was good for the price I thought. Had the #2 combo with snow crab legs , shrimp, clams, potatoes , sausage and two small pieces of corn.All the seafood was fresh and properly cooked. The shrimp are not cleaned or deveined so this might turn some folks off. . Had the house sauce with mild heat. I liked it was very tasty. The mild heat was just enough kick to not over power the dish . It is a lil salty and oily but it's a crab boil and that's what its supposed to be to me anyway. The sausage is like a kielbasa which is a disappointment. A nice andiulle sausage would be better . There was 3 of us and we finished all of it . Two beers and a lemonade. 125$. Seems reasonable for a seafood lunch for 3. Parking: Plenty Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
