Shay's Restaurant

Shay's is my go to spot every Sunday for breakfast. I meet up with my friends and chop it up with Tim on the cash register, Rebecca and Bila (they're our servers, they switch sections), Mason the cook, Joe and Santè the bussers, and sometimes we're graced by Shay himself! Love the place, love the food, love the people! If you're in the area of 40th and St. Clair stop in, you'll be glad you did!

Food was great, we stopped by for lunch working in Cleveland I had the Shay burger and fries, service was quick and nice, the inside however is not dressed for a place I'd take my girl out to eat at all lol

Awesome breakfast. Lots of halal breakfast options as well. The restaurant was featured in the movie, American Splendor. A local hit, for sure, with fast and friendly service. Thanks. Vegetarian options: Other than breakfast meat, the breakfast menu is vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: Halal food options available. Parking: Off-street parking is available. Depending on the time of the day, might not be able to find closer parking spot.

Love this place

Just ordered Pizza for our company…. Who would’ve thought a killer diner would have some of the best grandma’s pizza you could ask for! Can’t go wrong with this place wish I could give them more stars….

First time there, and would return. Another guy thanked my dad Wll a Vet and paid for breakfast.

Probably the best Cleveland restaurants offering great down-home, good quality food. It's a family owned restaurant with sound service. I say this as a customer who first ate here in the mid-80s (yep, that other century). I / we especially enjoy breakfast and lunch here. Also, love the family members!

Picked up breakfast this morning the potatoes was burnt and the cheese in the eggs was not good...It has been a while since I been to Shays and it will be a while before I go back
