Sausage and cheese pies were outstanding, and honestly the best chicken shawarma sandwich I have ever had.

good shawarma, mid service, guy was rushing me and was tweaking cuz I asked for saj bread then when I found out it was $18 for a saj bread shawarma I said nevermind I’ll take a regular chicken shawarma and he was pissed that he had to put the saj bread back. Nonetheless, the regular chicken shawarma was good.

Do yourself a favour and go across the street to Shawarma Palace

I have tried numerous Shawarma places throughout Ottawa. My family and many of my friends have been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years. Their shawarma sandwiches, plates and family platters have a good amount of food, the meat is almost always perfectly moist and tasty. I find when I am working long days outside, a shawarma is the really the only fuel I need to endure the day. I love their tabouleh, and their pickled turnips (yummm - firm and nice pink) and peperoncini peppers (oh yes - not too salty or flimsy) are the best in all the places I've been to. We absolutely love their flatbreads - I personally love the veggie one. Nice and hot in only a few minutes. Service is generally very quick, with the only delays (as expected) right at lunch or supper. The staff are friendly, responsive and helpful. Overall, the booths are kept quite clean. A great place to eat and good value - especially with their discount program for loyalty.

This is my go to shawarma place. Myself and my husband eat here every few weeks. The portions are always huge and the product is always fresh. It does not make your stomach hurt or feel icky after eating. Service is always quick and friendly. My son is obsessed with their cheese pies as well.

Great,established spot. Top notch ingredients. Sauces are fantastic. Beef was juicy and well flavored. Service was fantastic.
