Shank & Bône

Food is always great, they answer my stupid questions and help me change it up if I need something different. This is one of our Top 5 in San Diego.

They have very good bones and broth. Though I think they should add some veggies, I don't mind getting less meet for more veggies. On a side note, their servers are very impatient…

VERY GOOD PHOOOOOOOOOO Very good. Better than any pho that I had in Pittsburgh. The sprouts were super fresh and the portion, oh my, was definitely filling. Ordering was a little bit pushy but I think it might because they were about to get super busy. We went in 1 minute after they opened (noon). Broth was so good that i drank it all.

Amazing Vietnamese food at Shank & Bone! We started with the grilled scallop on the half shell which was delightful, four scallops total. Then for entrees we had the brisket & bone bahn mi and the braised catfish with the sweet sour shrimp soup. Everything was incredible, very flavorful, we ate until the plates were clean. Great staff and the food came out quickly. We sat on the dog friendly patio. Highly recommend!

Home made flavor and portions! Café sua da is Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk Banh xeo tacos are perfect hand held twist to the original. Crunchy and delicious The beef stew gave me flashbacks to when my mom would make it. Seriously so good! Warmed my soul and I wanted to lick the bowl. Price was very reasonable! Thank you so much to the owner! You made my taste buds so satisfied!
