Shang Noodle & Chinese La Grange

Have had takeout twice now. Once during the week and once on a Friday. Both times the food was ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes, the food was HOT, and the portions were very generous. The Kung Pao Shrimp and Orange Chicken were excellent. I also ordered the Hawaiian Shrimp. They don’t skimp on the Shrimp. You get a good amount of good sized shrimp. We’ll keep coming back to Shang, for sure.

First time at Shang Noodle & Chinese in La Lgrange. The whole family thought the food was great! Everything was very tasty. Protein in various dishes: beef high quality and very tender; chicken high quality and every piece consisted of whole chunks of breast. Bottom line: we found our go-to local Chinese restaurant.

Phenomenally-tasting dumplings, egg plant and the best ribs I ever had!!! Great service, too. Very authentic. ... revisited yesterday ... excellent again: mato tofu and seafood hotpot ... delicious! Great service, huge portions at a very reasonable price, beautiful decor.

First time visit. Would definitely visit again. Fast and cordial service. There are larger tables for parties of 6+ and even private rooms for large groups. Soup dumplings: let them cool a bit! Orange chicken: batter was fluffy and caught a lot of sauce. The sauce is was a tomato-based, different but good. Baby bok choy: a favorite. Balanced with garlic and chicken stock. Mapo tofu: choose pork option. Let it cool! Enough spice for flavor but not to feel like a burning mouth

Food was on the greasy side but tasty!

The food is very bland, I had to add salt, pepper, soy sauce, and sweet and sour, to get some flavor in my Mongolian beef. Love shrimp fried rice, super dry, and bland

Great food! We had the house special Chow Mein and the Singapore Vermicelli. Both were amazing

If I could give 6 stars I would. I have only ever had takeout, but the food is always delicious, easily favorite restaurant in the area, but it is close with Kama across the street. I have even had the man at the front desk give me a coupon just because.
