Shane's Rib Shack

I just left this location in Montgomery Alabama. I went in to place an order. I walked in with my small Maltese puppy in my arms. A young man stated to me I assume he works there never introduced his self just said that he was going to have to ask me to leave because of my dog, not knowing what type issues I have for the reason my dog is with me. I stated to him that I don’t have to do none of the above. He stated because my dog didn’t have on a vest that I had to leave the facility was so upset that I did not pull my phone out to record him Which I should have because I feel like he discriminated against me my race did not have a reason to ask me to leave the facility at all but if this is the type of behavior, Shane rib shack excepts, I would never ever step foot in that location again.

My food was awful!!! Just absolutely awful!! Those ribs are precooked days before and they are dry and hard. The Mac n cheese is straight out of the can no taste at all. And be careful with the potato salad, mine tasted like it came out of a pre packed container and it was spoiled. It has a month old past the expiration date spoiled taste. And their prices are extremely high for such poor quality food. Never will I ever eat here again!!

Great people, food, and service.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. That has changed. Nowadays, this location takes shortcuts to prepare the food; so it's likely your meal won't be up to standards AT ALL and they do not trust long-time customer's word when you call to let them know the food was awful. You might even get a debate when you tell them exactly what you ordered. They require you to bring the food back before they even consider making it right. Order at your own risk.

Update on 12-20-23: I still love their BBQ pork, but I was feeling adventurous and decided to try another item on their menu. I ordered 3 chicken tenders, along with sweet potato fries (for a small upcharge). I was amazed at how large the tenders were, and they were delicious! I could only eat 2 of the tenders, but believe me, I took the remaining one home. The sweet potato fries were also delicious, there were just too many to eat! (5 years ago) The BBQ pork alone is reason enough to come here! But guess what? Their sides and desserts are awesome as well! Don't take my word for it - try them out for yourself.

Not the best food. Bbq is refrigerated instead of fresh bbq.
