Shame & Regret

The atmosphere was fantastic for a quick drink and appetizer with a good friend of mine. I ordered the hummus and a Moscow mule. The staff are friendly and prompt. It felt like no time at all when we got our orders.

As someone who doesn't care for whiskey, I was hesitant about coming here since their selection is mostly wasted on me. But the vibe seemed novel, and I decided to try it anyway. I am *so* glad I did. The cocktails were interesting and delicious (pictured are the Buried Booty and Voodoo Priestess). The decor was amazing. The ambiance was at least as flavorful as the drinks, which is saying a lot. Best of all was my server Talena whose personality was as warm as my fiery drinks. Her kind soul welcomed me as an out-of-towner, and her infectious smile made my night out feel far less alone. Next time I'm in town, I'll absolutely be coming back.

Spent an hour or so here winding down with a Monday Night Flight of 3x single malt whisky. Great service, nice vibe in here. I just sat at the bar and chilled. Was good to have the tasting notes for the three single malts too, and to have the bottles lined up to take a look at.

Think of this place as a dark academia/ old cigar style bar. It was a wonderful relaxing atmosphere while I was there. The drinks are amazing. The service was phenomenal. I ordered the Ball and Chain and I recommend it to anyone wanting an airy, thyme flavor drink!

I'm not often "wowed" by a place but I was by Shame & Regret. From an ambience that was spot on for our mood , to the excellent service, absolutely delicious food and drinks perfectly tailored for each one of us, we all left having enjoyed the night more than we had enjoyed going out for be it lunch, drinks or dinners, in a long time. Thank you Shame & Regret for a fantastic and surprisingly satisfying night out. I think I can safely speak for everyone when I say we are definitely looking forward to the next time!
