Per the official website: "Shakey’s Pizza Riverside, located at 5942 Van Buren Blvd, has been a part of Inland Empire families’ lives for almost 60 years. The franchisee who owned and operated the restaurant is retiring, and as a result, closing his store. In our commitment to continue to serve the community, Riverside residents can look forward to another Shakey’s Pizza Parlor opening in the future. Shakey’s USA is actively securing other sites in the area. In the meantime, diners can visit nearby Shakey’s locations in Moreno Valley, Rialto & Redlands. Stay tuned!" Happy retirement... The parlor was a great place to share drinks with friends. I enjoyed the lunch buffet. The pizza fried chicken and mojo potatoes were loco... before I went on a diet...
Our first time coming here in almost two years...the food was wonderful and it's definitely worth the price when it's happy hour to save you some money for wonderful food! We'll be coming back here for delicious pizza and Mojo Potatoes!! Keep it up magnificent work!! *UPDATE* It closed down after 9pm on 10/22/23, according to the official website. Parking: There are some spots that are easier for us to get it! Kid-friendliness: It does have an arcade room and television that has kids shows.
the worst costumer serves ever the staff did not spoke english I could not communicate. The food took a long time. The beer was also warm and disgusting.
This place is closed I'm not sure if it permanent or not. However there was a homeless man who set up camp right infront of the door and not a car insight of the parking lot and it was only 6pm.
The Van Buren Shakey's was out of beer for a Monday bunch-a-lunch, also out of most of the fountain drinks, and most the arcade games. Pizza was sparse.
Sad to say we found out yesterday that this location will be closing after Sunday, October 22. We have enjoyed many great pizzas here through the years. Wish the owner would have chosen to sell the franchise to someone who would carry on the Shakeys legacy. Will surely miss you!!
Amazing could do more on the food
