Delicious donut

Overpriced- egg sandwich is $6.50 and a donut is $3. Not worth it. Go to BakeryPlus or even Dunkin.

The were great, we got 6 different flavors and they were all amazing! Highly recommended

So, I left the house early today to run an insane amount of errands. I was in the Michiga Ave area, stopped by a gas station, got some coffee and my imaginary friend said: "you know that a donut will go perfect with that coffe, right?" So I googled "donuts near me". And then Shaka donuts popped up in my search,so I went there. Oh, man. I'm so happy I went. I could tell that almost half of their donuts were sold out, but the ones remaining on that counter....looked like heaven. I had the brownie with chocolate and caramel, blueberry cheesecake (my favorite) and the creme filled. Ate one right on the parking lot, got my sugar rush and drove straight home so I could demolish the rest with my Son. I see people complaining about the prices. Well, these ain't no krispy or dunkin' place. These are far superior and are totally worth the price. So good that if I have to go out of my way to get a few, I will. That's how good they are. The place was easy to find, clean and the staff was great. Yes...I'm going back.

Great donuts, a bit pricey at about $4 each but great quality and big donuts. Service was fair. 1 girl was very friendly, the other seemed bothered.

Edited: Thank you for the reply, Shaka. That is helpful to know, because there were at least 3 other vehicles that pulled up while we were checking it out and verifying hours that also walked up to see the same thing we did. Just a suggestion: it would be really, really helpful and nice to put a few signs up on the doors to say that you’re sold out, so it doesn’t just look like you aren’t keeping your posted hours. We drove from another city to try this and had no idea you needed to get there earlier… figured coming 3 hours before posted close would at least get something. Also, your IG for both the ice cream and donuts haven’t been updated in over a year - this further “confirmed” for us that maybe something happened and you were only mobile or closed. Even a weekly or bi-weekly update is there is informative, and a quick story posted to let everyone know when you’ve sold out for the day would be incredible. Adjusted my review for the time being, we’ll try to get back over here to give it another shot since we know how it works a little better. Original review: This place is definitely closed.
