I really enjoyed our visit here. The food was enjoyable and you are of course paying for the experience as well. Would definitely like to go again.
It’s an “okey” restaurant. I went there for lunch and the lunch set menu is very affordable. I would definitely recommend for business meetings. The regular menu is very expensive. You pay for location and poshness.
I visited here on the 29th of jan food was amaze and waiting staff. However the man at the door said to my bf “she better not be under age” (im 21) before even asking to see my ID as if i was his property. So embarrasing and unprofessional for a large restaurant.
Dined here for the Sunday brunch experience and honestly super great value for money with the unlimited sushi and mountain of food that came with the appetisers, mains and dessert. A very filling meal! However the experience was 'strange' and inconsistent for what I expected of the establishment. The music was so loud to the point where I couldn't hear the staff themselves, or my peers. The DJ played the same song twice, I thought it was just a playlist at first but yes the restaurant has it's own DJ. A bell would ring very loudly everytime something happened, I think upon a purchase of something expensive? But it was just very noisy and chaotic for an ambience. Then there was the service, the wait staff was very inconsistent. We had 3 different servers which I found odd. The first lady that sat us down didn't explain the Sunday brunch to us. Just asked what water we wanted. Then we were sat wondering if we just headed straight to the buffet table or not. Then another lady told me there wasn't any miso soup when it said there was on the menu. When I pointed to the soup on the menu she then had to go check with management. She then later told me it was in fact available. (Weird!) Then after the main was finished and the tables were cleared we were kept waiting 20 minutes before we were informed that dessert takes 20 minutes to create. I feel as though someone should have told us before we were sat waiting for such a long period of time with no updates. At that point we had felt pretty much forgotten. Then later on another member of the wait staff bought us an additional dessert and said it was for the roses (ladies) of the table. Before returning to the table and saying that he delivered it to the wrong table (we hadn't touched it yet - so lucky him I guess!). And then another 10 mintues later my partner finally received his birthday scoop of ice cream. But this was after we paid the bill and were asked to wait (???) the scoop should have come with the rest of the dessert like usual we though. Overall it was quite a disjointed experience. I did still have fun, though I doubt I will be back too soon.
Nice atmosphere, amazing food and friendly staff.
We went for the weekend Sunday brunch with unlimited sushi. I’ll start off with ambience. It was not giving. 2.5/5. It was louder than it needed to be with loud music for a fancy attire early dinner vibe. The buffet was hyped up more than it needed to be for 58 pounds. Was expecting a bit more variety and just more in the buffet. The starters were nice. Loved the small salmon sandwich. We got 3 different mains, the teriyaki salmon 6/10 the sea bass 8/10 and the edamame gyoza 6/10. The star of the show was the desserts. The chocolate lava cake was 10/10 moist with a soft salty sweet centre. Very well balanced with vanilla bean ice cream. YUM. the rose looked so aesthetic and the cream was nice even the strawberry compote complimented the cream filling. The doughnuts were is but the sauce was so nice.
The afternoon brunch is everything, so is the vibes (live DJ) and the aesthetics. We went for my friend’s birthday and the waitress Veronica went out of her way to ensure my friend felt special. Her customer service was just perfect, she was patient, joyful and warm. We are truly grateful. This is defo going to be our regular spot this summer.
Overrated I don’t recommend it at all !
